Reports

Reports shows what you spent and what it brought in, for all your ad accounts and for each one.

  • Today means each ad account's own calendar day, in its own time zone. A date in the picker is each account's own date too.
  • One currency at a time, never converted. A number card with money in other currencies says so in a small line such as "+ 2 more currencies"; hold the pointer on it to see the amounts. If your accounts use more than one, choose it beside the date picker.
  • How often: accounts that are spending fast are checked every few minutes, others every hour, quiet ones every three hours.
  • Last 60 minutes is known after an hour of readings; the 5 and 15 minute windows need readings from before the window.
  • The chart is by hour for one day and by day for a period. Hover a bar for the exact amount. Stripes mean the number isn't here yet: the hour or day still under way, and days whose history is still loading after connecting.
  • By hour: the current hour keeps filling. Some spend is not assigned to an hour by the platform; it is shown as "without an hour". Hours are loaded for the last week of history; an older day shows its total and says "Hours not loaded for this day". With several accounts, spend from an account whose hours aren't loaded is shown as "with hours not loaded".

The table

  • Accounts, Campaigns, Ad sets, Ads pick what each row is. Click a row to go deeper: an account opens its page, a campaign shows its ad sets, an ad set its ads. A small button shows what you are looking inside; click it to clear it.
  • Group by and Then by choose up to three levels (Campaign, Landing page, Country, Day...). Visits not from an ad show as "Organic". It shows under US dollars, or your main currency if no account uses them, and only under All workspaces. A conversion whose visit was never recorded shows as "No visit". A landing page shows the page's own site.
  • Compare to previous period shows the change against the period just before. On Today it compares with the same hours of yesterday.
  • View: Results by Click date or Conversion date; Credit to the Last click or First click from an ad.
  • The + chooses columns: Money, Delivery, Tracking, Video, From the platform. The ⋯ menu has Export CSV.
  • Spend and Clicks come from the platforms. By landing page, each ad's spend is split by its share of visits; by country, device, placement and hour they stay empty.
  • Amounts in another currency are not in the table's money; the currencies left out are named above the table.
  • Click loss: the share of clicks that never became a visit.
  • Only approved and pending conversions count.
  • Visits, Conversions and Revenue are for owners and admins. Anyone else who can see an account sees its spend, with those columns empty.

How the numbers stay right

Every check compares the platform's answer with what ScalingDeck has and records only the changes. Corrections update the hour, the day and every total.

  • Still updating: platforms correct recent days, so each day is checked again: yesterday twice, then daily until day 14. An account that starts spending late in the evening is checked the same way.
  • Month close: each month is checked again and closed after day 5 of the next month. Any change after that is shown beside the closing total, on the Month close page (the button at the top of Reports). If ad accounts can't be added to Reports, ScalingDeck keeps trying and admins get a notice in the bell. Months missed while an account was paused or disconnected are filled in and closed when it comes back.
